Recent medical studies show that sleep loss can increase hunger and affect your body's metabolism to a point that can make weight loss and maintenance more difficult. So if you have been consistent with your reduced calorie menu and fitness plans, you still may be able to enhance your success with better sleep.

1) Many hormones are affected by sleep. Leptin and ghrelin are two hormones that can influence appetite. And studies show that production of both may be influenced by how much or how little we sleep. When you begin strength training as a way to lose stomach fat, do not worry about getting "big and bulky". The addition of lean muscle mass will make your body into a fat burning machine that will help you lose fat from your stomach and all over your body.

2. Bodyweight squats

3. DB 1 arm row

4. Hamstring leg curls

5. Lunges

6. Ab crunches on stability ball
